Privacy Policy

This policy describes how the website actually handles personal data, based on how it is built. Please review it — and have it checked against how the workshop handles customer information off the website — before relying on it.

What we collect, and when

We only collect personal information you choose to send us.

When you request a quote, we collect your name, mobile number, how you would like us to reply, and optionally your email address; your vehicle’s make, model and year; the service you need; anything you write in the message box; and any photographs you attach.

When you make a fleet enquiry, we collect your company name, contact person, work email and phone number, and the details you give us about your fleet.

With every form submission, our system also records the time, your browser’s user-agent string, and a one-way scrambled (“hashed”) version of your IP address. The hash cannot be turned back into your IP address. We use it only to stop automated abuse of the forms.

Why we use it

To prepare and send you a quote, to contact you about your vehicle or enquiry, to keep a record of work discussed and carried out, and to protect the forms from spam and abuse. We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to, and we do not sell or rent them to anyone.

Photographs of your vehicle

Photographs you upload frequently show number plates, so they are treated as personal information. They are stored privately — never published on the website — under randomised file names, and access is blocked to anyone who is not a signed-in member of our staff. Deleting an enquiry deletes its photographs from our server.

How long we keep it

Quote and fleet enquiries are kept while we may still need them for the work discussed and for our own business records. Enquiries automatically identified as spam are deleted after 30 days, as are the internal counters used for abuse protection. Ask us and we will delete your enquiry sooner.

Who else is involved

The website is hosted on a private server. Pages that show our location embed a map from Google, and opening one causes your browser to contact Google directly; that is governed by Google’s own privacy policy. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. WordPress sets cookies only for people who sign in to administer the site.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us on +971 52 191 6438 or at kmpauto1@hotmail.com and we will deal with your request.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page.
