We inspect the full braking system, including pads, discs, callipers, lines and fluid, and photograph what we find so you can see the wear yourself.

You approve an itemised quote before we fit anything. We use genuine or OEM-equivalent pads and discs matched to your car, and every brake job ends with a road test.

Brakes are a safety system, so we measure rather than estimate. Pad and disc thickness is recorded against the manufacturer’s minimum and the figures are shown to you, which also means that if there is still life left in them we say so instead of selling you a set you do not need yet.

Common questions

Do I need new discs or just pads?

Not always. Discs are measured against the manufacturer's minimum thickness. If yours are within limits and unscored, we will say so and show you the inspection photographs.

How often should brake fluid be changed?

Typically every two years. Brake fluid absorbs moisture over time, which reduces braking performance. We can test its condition during any inspection.

How long does a brake job take?

Pads and discs are usually a same-day job. We confirm timing when you book.
